WHO WE ARE

We are London-based artists, set designers, musicians and a composer who met and hit it off during a London Sinfonietta/Central School of St Martins commission for the London Sinfonietta's one-day festival, New Music Show 2. We were asked to create collaborative works as part of 'Hidden', a series of intimate solo performances taking place in the secret backstage spaces of the Queen Elizabeth Hall, and after critical acclaim of our world premiere performance, we decided to take our artistic bubble to new heights.

We bring together our different areas of expertise, passions and creativity to create works that aim to challenge, inspire and immerse audiences in mul- ti-sensory experiences. Combining interdependent visuals, sound and media, we create cross-art/cross-cutural performance installations that alter the experiencer's sense of reality.

BUSHRA EL-TURK

The award-winning young composer Bushra El-Turk's music of '...ironic...', '...arresting...' and 'limitless imagination' forebears the influence of her Lebanese roots and straddles Eastern and Western idioms all the while leaning towards the absurd and the theatrical. Bushra's music has been both performed and broadcast on radio and television in the UK and globally. These include pieces being performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, London Sinfonietta, Royal Opera House, Opera Holland Park, Manchester Camerata, Orchestre National de Lorraine (France), the multi-ethnic Atlas Ensemble (Holland).
